Dr. Bertram L. Ashe was part of the Los Angeles Unified School District for over thirty years as a teacher, vice-principal, principal and school administrator. Following retirement he served as lecturer, intern supervisor and coordinator of California/Math Science Teacher Corps Project at Cal State Dominguez Hills, 1987-97. He was honored as one the top 50 Outstanding Principals in LAUSD by the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and has been the recipient of numerous other honors.
